How this interactive tool works
This page provides the documented overview before the interactive experience is loaded. It lets you read the purpose, the material covered and the way the result is presented without entering answers or sending a request. When you choose to continue, the interactive version uses the same material shown here. It then presents the route's existing prompts, controls and completion behaviour.
The interactive experience remains responsible for its own input, score and lead-capture step. Where the route requests a first name and work email, its existing form handles validation and submission. This overview does not replace those steps or submit a lead.
What you will work through
These are the sections and prompts already used by this route. They describe the scope of the interactive experience and the information it asks you to consider before it creates a result, printable card or saved browser document.
AI fluency and system interaction
This domain considers the ability to communicate with, prompt and collaborate alongside AI systems in day-to-day workflows.
- Writing clear, structured prompts that produce useful outputs
- Identifying when an AI tool is the right choice for a task
Analytical reasoning and critical thinking
This domain considers the capacity to evaluate AI outputs, identify errors and make sound judgements about when to trust or challenge recommendations.
- Checking AI-generated output for accuracy, coherence and potential bias
- Recognising common AI errors such as confident confabulation, statistical misinterpretation and cultural bias
Situational judgement and exception handling
This domain considers when autonomous AI can be relied on, when human intervention is needed and when a decision must be escalated.
- Recognising situations outside normal operating parameters that need human judgement
- Deciding when a task can be delegated to AI and when it needs oversight or escalation
Cross-domain generalist abilities
This domain considers breadth of knowledge and cognitive flexibility for supervising AI systems operating across business functions.
- Understanding how multiple business functions connect
- Recognising when an output in a less familiar domain appears implausible and knowing what to ask
Social and emotional intelligence
This domain considers the interpersonal capabilities that become more important as technical work is delegated to machines.
- Building trust through consistent, transparent communication
- Supporting colleagues anxious or resistant about AI with empathy rather than dismissal
Strategic oversight and ethical governance
This domain considers the capacity to keep AI systems accountable, unbiased and aligned with organisational values and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying bias, fairness, transparency and accountability risks in AI-augmented workflows
- Maintaining named human accountability for AI-augmented process outcomes
What happens after you complete it
Access to the interactive assessment uses its existing first-name and work-email gate. The assessment then uses five statements in each domain and a one to six response scale. It calculates an average for each domain and an overall average, then ranks domains by development priority. The existing labels are Developing, Emerging, Proficient and Advanced, with the matching interpretation and recommended actions for each domain.
